Every year, Silver Star receives over 23ft of natural, dry, champagne powder snow, thanks to
the unique micro-climate of the Okanagan Valley. The 2,725 skiable acres of uncrowded slopes (with more to be added soon!) and varied terrains
to suit all, are just some of the reasons Silver Star has one of the highest visitor-return rates in North America!
Renowned as a mountain to suit all skiing and boarding abilities, Silver Star is the perfect place for the whole family's needs! |

Silver Star is so much more than just wonderful skiing! There are plenty of
après ski activities avaliable in and around the pedestrian only village.
Highlights include a range of dining options, from fine dining to light snacks, a selection of excellent shops to buy your souveniers from, and
Tube Town - safe, high speed fun, all from the comfort of your own truck tyre inner tube! |

Other attractions include a weekly selection of activities, organised by the mountain staff as well as
dog sledding, snowmobiling and snowshoe tours, sleigh rides and an outdoor ice skating rink.
Every year, at the start of February in nearby Vernon, the Vernon Winter Carnival takes place with colourful processions taking to the streets
and ice sculpting in Silver Star Village. You may even be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Ogopogo, the fabled monster who inhabits Lake
Okanagan! |
